Telescopic Loupe Special Offer for the VDP Program

The all-new "Tele" Lens loupes.  Designed from the same principles as a telescope, this loupe allows for the user to be able to both sit and stand while remaining in focus. Traditional loupes offer a small Depth of Field for maneuvering within a surgical area.  This limitation often affects the user making them bend at the neck, back, or have to adjust their tables.  With the all-new lens, the user has a depth of field generally triple that of a normal loupe.  This innovation comes equipped with a significant clarity increase due to the antireflective coatings also.  A true must-have in any surgical suite.

Maintenance and Care:

Your new loupes were thoroughly tested in both extreme heat and cold weathers to ensure the seal on the loupe barrels remains intact. Please avoid keeping your loupes in extreme temperatures exceeding 115 degrees Fahrenheit / 46 degrees Celsius or below -20 degrees Fahrenheit / -28.9 degrees Celsius.

  • Do Not Submerge your loupes in water, cleaning solutions or cold sterilization solutions: Although your loupes are water-resistant, we encourage cleaning them with a micro fiber cloth and antibacterial solutions sprayed on the cloth or directly on the frame and lens. Submerging the loupes in water can lead to a barrier seal being compromised and condensation forming in the barrels.

  • Do Not autoclave or Chemiclave your loupes

  • Do Not use cavi-wipes on your loupes as they are abrasive and remove the coatings we provide to offer proper protections from fogging, scratching and blue light protection.

  • When using chemicals its best to dilute them 50% with water before applying to the loupes or a cloth for the loupes. We recommend a soap & water dilution to not break down the poly material lens.

Your new loupes are coated with a new blue light sensitive lens technology designed to reduce the amount of blue light to the eye by 75% or more. This new lens technology does not reduce the blue light capability by 100% so avoiding direct eye contact with curing lights is still suggested.

Introduction to Your New Flip Up Loupes

A Few Key Points to know as you get familiar with your new Loupes.

Your loupes have a small turn dial in the middle of them seen with the blue arrow below. This Dial is the IPD (interpulillary distance) Adjustment. Simple put the loupes on and turn that dial until 2 circles converge to make one circle. This will allow your pupils to be directly behind the barrels allowing you to see 1 image.

Your loupes also have a hinge adjustment for allowing one to work with proper ergonomics. Understanding that many people who wear loupes will have different heights and ways to work allows for the user to adjust the hinges to make them easier to work both standing or sitting. The Hinge can be moved up, down and parallel for easy adjustments. The hinge is seen in figure 2 with the blue arrow. The hinge also allows the user to flip the loupe up when they are not using it.

Your new loupes come with a built in depth based on the magnification used. This depth allows the user to both work in a seated or a standing position. The magnification standard is arranged in a sense that the user can enhance their viewing capability to make any small object visible.
